Mechanical Engineering focuses on the design, production, and maintenance of machines and systems. It is one of the core and evergreen branches of engineering.

Selection Procedure

First and foremost step for BTech courses aspirants is that they need to appear and qualify for one of the major engineering entrance exams for admission to an institute.
National-level engineering entrance exams such as JEE Main are accepted by NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and several other private colleges. JEE Advanced entrance exam scores are mostly considered for admission to top IITs in the country.
Other than the above-mentioned two exams, BTech admission is also done through state-level exams such as AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, MHT CET, KCET, COMEDK UGET, etc., and university/college-level exams such as BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE and UPESEAT.
Fill out the college application forms before the last date to enjoy a smooth admission process.
After the declaration of exam results, counseling and seat allotment process is conducted by the concerned authorities. During counselling, students have to choose the college and BTech courses of their choice based on their ranks in the exam.
After seat allotment, every student must visit the allotted engineering college to complete the admission formalities like document verification and submission of B Tech course fees.
