Course Overview

BTech Civil Engineering is a four-year UG-level engineering degree course that is spread across eight semesters. The B Tech Civil Engg. course provides the students with detailed knowledge of the foundational concepts of planning, designing, construction, safety, and maintenance of structures and buildings of all kinds. Besides theoretical knowledge, a B Tech degree in Civil Engineering incorporates practical training via field visits and projects, providing students with relevant hands-on experience.

Selection Procedure

Completion of Class 12 in the Science background with at least 50 to 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
The criteria for SC/ST/OBC students is around 45 to 55% marks because of marks relaxation given to them by the academic institutions.
Students must appear for relevant BTech Civil Engineering entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, TNEA, KCET, MHT CET, BITSAT, VITEEE, etc.
They must try their level best to score decent marks in the exam to be able to grab a seat at some reputed B Tech Civil Engineering college in India.
There is no particular age limit to pursue a B Tech degree in Civil Engineering.
